Solar Charging Arrays with storage batteries are available. We require geographical location (latitude and longitude), planned hours of operation and transmitter output power in order to design an appropriate sized power system.
3 dBi Gain AntennaThis antenna is fully tunable across the FM band from 88-108 MHz. It comes complete with tuning instructions, ground radials, mounting brackets and 30 metres of RG8 low-loss co-axial cable. This will improve your coverage area without additional power input. These are shipped in a durable PVC container.
The antenna we normally supply with the transmitter is a Veronica stacked dipole antenna. This antenna effectively doubles your power over a zero gain antenna and is broadband. This means it does not require retuning if you change frequency, but remains effective from 88 to 108 MHz. It is well constructed and comes with full assembly instructions, all necessary junction boxes, clamps and cables for a complete antenna system. It is shipped in a durable PVC container to prevent any possible damage to the radiating elements.

Two models of transmitter are currently available. They are all based on the same design and characteristics but the higher powered systems have broadband amplifiers to boost their RF power output.

The 30 Watt transmitter is a stand alone unit with amplifier included. These units are frequency agile across the band from 88 to 108 MHz. They are easily tuned and adjusted in the field using the display lights on the front panel.

We continue to try and develop optimum systems that are low on power input but deliver a good signal from the antenna. Our preference is to use gain antennas with our transmitters so that minimal input power is required for maximum coverage.
Stereo tape recorder players/ Mini disc recorders/ Solid state recorders
Stereo tape recorders, mini disc recorders and a variety of solid state recorders are available on the market. While we encourage you to shop around, we know that access from developing areas is not always easy. We will entertain special orders for these devices if you cannot readily obtain them elsewhere.
